RobotejoDuring the Spanish Transfans Convention 2013, to be held in Valladlid from October 19 to October 20, 2013, a drawing contest will take place, open to everyone.

Up to two paintings can be presented for each contestant, and a first prize will be awarded by the jury.

II ACAT Drawing Contest “Pools of Polyhex”

The Asociación de Coleccionistas y Aficionados a los Juguetes Transformables, ACAT announces the II ACAT Drawing Contest  "Pools of Polyhex”.


1. Any fan from any part of the world may freely enter the contest.

2. The paintings must consist on original drawings representing transforming characters, being homeages to existing characters or scenes, or invented.

3. The works must be presented on digital format, on TIFF or JPEG format and a minimum of 200dpi. We suggest the dimensions of the picture to be proportional to the DIN A4 format (210x297cms) as that is the size in which they are going to be printed for public exposition. The drawings can be made using any drawing tool (computer, pencil, pen, crayon, watercolour…). 

4. The work must be submitted with a photocopy of ID card or equivalent of the author and phone number and/or email contact.

5. Each contestant  may compete with up to two different drawings, but can only win one prize. In case of winning several awards, the highest ranked one remains.

The deadline for drawings submission will be 10/12/2013. Every work received before or in that exact date will be accepted.

The works will be displayed by one ACAT member who will not be part of the Jury. The ACAT member will be responsible for making a numerical reference between the jobs and their authors in order to display the works anonimously.

7. The Jury’s Awards, valued in 100 €, will be chosen later

8. The awarding of prizes will be announced on October 20th, 2013 at 19:00 in the venue of the Jornadas. Non-attendant winners will be informed personally throw email or telephone.

9. The Jury will be formed by the members of the Asociación de Coleccionistas y Aficionados a los Juguetes Transformables ACAT who are present and not participating in the contest. The Jury shall decide on unresolved issues in these rules, being those decisions unappealable.

10. The winning works and the rest of contendant ones will be the subject of a special report that will be publisher on ACAT’s webpage,

11. ACAT will try to give the winner and his work the maximum informational coverage and advertisingm according to ACAT's possibilities.

12. Non-winning authors will be notified thru the media coverage and the ACAT web site

13. By taking part at the contest the contestant guarantees that he is the author of the presented work and the owner of the copyright. ACAT will not accept any responsibilities in case that is not true. 

14. The contestants agree to give the reproduction and distribution rights on their works to the ACAT worldwide.

15. Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules. Any unforeseen event not covered in these rules shall be decided by the organization or the Jury.
